A striking dining table designed by Giovanni Offredi for Saporiti Italia, Italy, in 1980. The table features a generous rectangular top with softly rounded corners, executed in beautifully figured burl wood. Its distinctive architectural base is composed of sculptural vertical elements, giving the table a strong geometric presence while retaining the refined elegance characteristic of Offredi’s designs for Saporiti Italia. An exceptional example of late 20th-century Italian design, combining sculptural form, rich materials and generous proportions. The table is in very good vintage condition, with only minor signs of wear consistent with age and use.
